Christmas is around the corner! The cards are arriving in the post; the decorations are going up; carols are being sung in churches; special food is being prepared. There is increase pressure to buy the best gift for those we love.
How easy it is to miss the central message of the season. God so loved you and me that He sent Jesus. Will you consider Him to be your LORD and Saviour? Will you consider making Him known to your family and friends this Christmas? If so, that is a cause for major celebration!
May our prayer be that the good news of our Saviour’s birth be heard amid all the clamour and noise of competing voices and that churches across the nations of the world will be faithful in telling the good news and encourage all Christians to be confident in Jesus. For it is Him who is the reason for this season.
