There has been some good news for churches. However, we will still need to keep a close eye on energy costs. Our last bill was £4,000 for a single quarter. That is totally unsustainable. We don’t want the church to be too cold to worship in comfortably. However, while the energy crisis is on, it would makes sense to add a layer before you come.
Right now, we are going for the easy wins. PCC have made arrangements for the external doors to be sealed. We lose a lot of heat that way. Please turn radiators off when you leave a room.
