After running a Seeds of Hope campaign in Swindon at Easter, giving out two and a half million sunflower seeds nationally along with gardening materials, Morrisons has taken the initiative to provide meals for disadvantaged children over the summer. Simon Raisey, the store’s community champion, is working with local schools. He needs a venue—and as many volunteers as we can gather. Simon is actively recruiting in the local community because there will be A LOT of parcels to sort.

St John’s will be open from 10.30 am on Thursday, 22nd July where we can join members of the community in preparing parcels for distribution. More next week. For now, please put the date in your diary.
