“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain”.
The psalmist reminds us that without God, all our efforts are, in some way, in vain. Along the same lines, he also tells us that guarding a city is futile without God. Our focus here at St John’s is to let the Main Thing be the Main Thing. And that Main thing, is Jesus Christ. Because without Him, we can do nothing. May God’s glory fill your hearts and renew your minds, as you make it your ambition to fully know Jesus, love him and make Him known wherever you go.
