The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand. I have been young and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread. He is ever merciful and lends; And his descendants are blessed. (Psalm 37:23-26).
Our steps are ordered by God. We do not choose them or change them when life experiences become challenging. We do not fix them because we are uncomfortable but rather submit ourselves to God leading even when we cannot see our way clear. God is calling you and me to courage amidst the changing seasons of our lives. While life circumstances keep changing, we serve a God who is unchanging. His faithfulness is eternal. It does not depend on our feeling or expectations.
