No! We have had to cut our coat according to our cloth. However the ROCK continues to open every Friday and is thriving. Thanks to our very reliable group of volunteers, we feel sure that we have enough the capacity to allow us to continue well into the future. It was really good to see a visitor to the ROCK at our 9am service last week. That is what it is all about.
We really need to mention Sue in dispatches. Despite going through several very painful months, and with some way yet to travel on the long road to full recovery, Sue has been active on the phone. She ensures that all the jobs are covered every Friday and is a lynch-pin of the whole enterprise.
With Sue’s help we can even cope with the competition from the new café in Morrisons!
