There has been an overwhelming response from the public to help those affected by the devastating Grenfell Tower fire. Those trying to give help to those who need it have been inundated with clothes and food but gifts of money enable charities working at the scene to help the injured, bereaved, destitute and traumatised.
The Salvation Army is working with the churches, mosques and other faith groups and there will be an opportunity for St. John’s members to give in retiring offerings after the services today.
