“Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus travelled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us! “When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.
It is always a scary thing to step out from what is familiar to us and step into the unknown. To step out into the unknown requires faith and trust in the word of the Lord. Had the ten lepers disobeyed the instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ due to their own fears of the unknown, they would have not been cleansed of their leprosy. Whenever God calls you to do something, your faith will be tested.
Q. Are you going through a test and wanting to give up because you cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel?
The Lord is calling you to take a step of faith even when you cannot see your way clear.
