very year, over 700 MPs, Peers and church leaders gather together in the Houses of Parliament to pray for our Parliament, government and politics, to build relationships between church leaders and their local MPs, and to reflect upon the relevance of the Christian faith to our public life.
This year, the Prayer Breakfast took place on Tuesday morning 27th June with the theme The Power of Forgiveness in Public Life. The speaker was Dr Amy Orr-Ewing who gave a strong and inspiring message to challenge the thinking of forgiveness as weakness, while including the good news with incredible clarity. Below is the YouTube recording of the whole event but you can fast forward to see just the speaker’s message if you wish.
