Thanks to a tremendous amount of gifts at Harvest Thanksgiving, St John’s was able to donate considerable amounts of food to both the Swindon Food Collective and The Filling Station.
Filling Station is directly supported by church members throughout the year. They are currently feeding up to 70 people in a single evening. The next delivery of food will take place on Thursday November 10th.
This will be a long hard winter for many people. The warm autumnal weather we have been enjoying will pass. It is really important that we “do not grow weary in doing good.”. Mary will be sending out the requests in a couple of weeks. If anyone would like to add their names to her list she would love to hear from you. Contact her c/o the Parish office.
