Sadly, Doris, is suffering from macular degeneration which affects the sight. This makes reading her Bible really difficult. Andy has long been trying to sort out a Bible App for Doris. There were problems along the way but he persevered – and has succeeded. Doris sent a lovely card of thanks. She was delighted when she heard the Bible read aloud for the first time.
Doris is remembered by her home group for her extensive and detailed knowledge of the Bible. She often shared words of wisdom in homegroup, out of her personal understanding of God’s Word. We miss her.
Doris’ house is now for sale. She has decided that the time has come for her to stay with her family. It is good to know that she can follow our services online.
