An enormous thank you to all of you for praying, inviting your MP, and making such a success of the 2020 World Watch List launch in Parliament last week.
MPs received nearly 4000 emails and an estimated 45,000 postcards inviting them to the launch. This led to 123 MPs …along with 6 Lords – our biggest turnout ever.
The Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for Freedom of Religion or Belief, Rehman Chishti MP, shared his commitment to seeing the current government do more to support the growing number of persecuted Christians around the world.
Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab, tweeted that the list will ‘inspire the UK to do more to use our global network …to champion freedom of religion and belief’.
