Following the unexpected retirement of our previous architect, PCC needed to appoint a new one. After interviewing three candidates, David, and our churchwardens Sam and Sharon, agreed that the post should go to Jessica Holland. PCC confirmed this at their meeting on Monday evening.
Why does this matter?
We have been unable to proceed with restoring the floor in the lounge, kitchen and crèche, because the work needs to be supervised by an approved architect. Naturally, our new architect will need some time to consider the proposals already made, so that we know that she can support them. However, the good news is that we are back on course.
