Reading the page opposite will reminds us of the freedoms we have in this nation to practise our faith and to spread it. In our sermon series we have seen that Peter has been reminding the believers to whom he was writing to keep on doing good, so that any accusations against them would be seen to be false.
Christmas gives us the chance to do that in abundance.
We want to use our Carol Service to spread the message of Jesus. This year, as ever, Alison will be running our Christmas Choir. The Carol Service is a highlight of our year. We love to infuse those traditional carols with new life, and show visitors that the faith spoken of is a real one. We encounter the Christ of the Carols within the walls of the church. Rehearsals begin on Monday December 2 and the next two Mondays.
Secondly, the Seniors’s Christmas Lunch is closing in. It is just two weeks away. If you have not yet signed up to provide food for that event or written to the parish office, please do as soon as you can.
