Every Christmas we have plastic boxes full of cards to be collected. This year, with all the publicity about climate change I wonder if we could try to save some of that paper-waste. I am proposing to create a St John’s Christmas insert for the bulletin before Christmas. If you would like to send a message to all of your friends and family here at St J’s please email your greeting to me (Mary S) c/o the Parish Office or jot one on a piece of paper and give it to me, I will do the rest. If you would like to make a donation to Jar of Grace or the charity you would normally buy your cards from that is entirely your choice. Join me this year in trying to save a few trees.
You can do this instead of putting cards in the box.
