Persecution has sadly been part of our Christian story from the beginning. But so have kindness, mercy, generosity and love.
You will be hearing this morning about another side of worldwide Christianity when Bill and Deana will tell the story of a floating hospital ship. We will not only find out about what Bill will be doing this autumn, but will discover the extraordinary things that God is doing in His world through His people. This is a story which needs to be told. It is a remarkable venture and one which, until recently, most of us knew little about.
No doubt there will be those who will want to support Bill financially. We will be giving details of his just giving page on Sunday and publishing them more widely or you can drop an envelope in here in church, marked “Bill Hunt—Mercy Ships”.
