We cannot be too careful where money is concerned. Swindon Foodbank collapsed last year in circumstances that have never been made public. The new organisation promises transparency.
How will this work out?
There is an open meeting of the Deanery Synod in Lydiard Millicent on Thursday February 28th at 7:30pm when we will have a chance to question them about the future. They are not likely to have answers to the issues of the past. We want to be assured that there has been a clean break. It would be good to have some PCC members there as you will need to make a decision on whether to transfer our giving to the Collective in future.
