For many years, the clergy have used the radiator as the place to keep the bread and wine used in communion. If you want a definition of what it means to be “low church”, I guess that’s going to be hard to beat.

Chris has considerably improved things for us by building a shelf or, to give it its proper name, a credence table. That will make the front of church appear less cluttered.

If you take a look at the space, you will see that he had to build it in the form of a V, because it is considerably wider at the front than the back. It was by no means an easy fit.

Many thanks Chris.
