St Francis School used to have a small service meeting there once a month. Once the parish was split in half, there were not enough people to make that viable. However, we have led a Christingle their last December and intend to do another this year. And in addition, we want to celebrate St Francis day with St Francis School parents and children. In order to do that, we will be running a service at 4pm in the afternoon on Sunday, 30th September. This will be in place of our 11am service. There will be a 9 AM service that day, but we would equally be delighted if I 9 o’clock members were able to join us at afternoon.
The school will publicise this service among its parents and children. We hope there will be participation from the children of St Francis. Two weeks later, will be our own Harvest Service and we are going to be inviting parents and children to come and join us for that. There may even be a choir coming from St Francis.
