The End of an Era

It is with great sadness that we have to report that Lynda has decided that it is time for her to stop playing the organ at our 9am service. She will continue until the end of the year, but after that, will officially retire. Lynda has played faithfully for us from many years, and we have hugely appreciated her musical ability throughout that period. She has not been content just to stand still, but has regularly taken lessons from David Boucher, the organist at St Mary’s in order continuously to improve. Our 9am congregation has received the benefit of that and will be saddened and grateful in equal measure to hear this news.
