PCC is considering allowing St John’s to become a Foodbank Distribution Centre. Things are still being discussed, but, if all goes well, we hope to start after Easter on either a Tuesday or Wednesday lunchtime. To volunteer the time commitment will be about 2 and a half hours. As ever, the more volunteers the better. There are varying roles available so even if you cannot lift heavy boxes other less strenuous roles are available. We will need people to make tea and coffee, to processing vouchers to simply welcoming clients. This is a Foodbank project and full training will be given.
