Rock Café Update

Like the website and the PCC (see items above) the ROCK has had to change in order to be both sustainable and effective. It re-opened last Friday, with new opening hours, a new menu, a new way of organising the staffing, some new volunteers – but without a paid supervisor. We know that what worked for us say, four years ago does not necessarily work today. Viv and the Rock Café Committee had to make some bold changes in response to the situation facing them. They have succeeded in doing that. Judging by the buzz that was coming out of the ROCK last Friday, we are definitely back on track.
