Youth
We have a long-standing commitment to children's work and believe that
children are the future of our church.
Like the other churches in Swindon, we have to be flexible, adapting to the needs of a mobile congregation. Children do not come to us in evenly grouped batches. If only they did, it would make life so much easier for our leaders!
At present we have four groups operating. These cover every age from 3 to 18 and are open to any children attending any of our services - both visitors and regulars alike.
- Scramblers (3yrs - reception)
- Climbers (school years 1 - 3)
- Investigators (school years 4 - 8)
- SAS (13-18yrs)
Our children take part in leading worship and are often involved with J.A.M. Spread.
Within our older teenagers group (SAS) we have some exceptionally talented young people. Drama, especially mixed with humour, is a big part of our church services on special occasions, like Christingle, Easter and Harvest.
