Jars of grace
This simple idea involves taking a jar and placing it on the table from Harvest Thanksgiving (the second Sunday in October) until Christmas day. Every time a meal is eaten, money is dropped into the jar.
The small sums add up in an extraordinary way, and it is not unusual for us to collect an extra £2,000 each Christmas, which is divided between the people of Uganda, and UNICEF.
